Love this so much. Who hasn’t had a morning after the night before? http://meyoucoffee.wordpress.com/2014/03/05/stag/
Touching and so beautiful – http://jessieansons.com/2014/03/05/why-would-you-bother-friday-fictioneers/
The Elephant never disappoints. I haven’t linekd to him for a bit, because I didn’t want to play favourites – http://anelephantcant.me/2014/03/05/the-end-friday-fictioneers/
If you want to know how this story started:
I have no idea where it is going, only that each week a little more unfolds in front of me.
very moving scene for the prompt and love your story pressed to the photograph. nice!
Thank you so much.
Haunting!
Thank you
The silence cloak is by far your strongest line here, Victoria. I like the overlay on the prompt and the overall story line. The last line clunks for me, though, especially since the next-to-last line was good and strong.
Thanks for the good read.
Cheers!

Cool, thanks. I will do better.
I love the contrast you create by placing the peace and silence alongside the carrion and storm. It all seems balanced, until VENGENCE. Brilliant, Victoria.
Thank you so much.
Thank you
Beautiful!
Thank you
Wow! Love this. And overlaying it on the photo was a wonderful touch.
Thank you
Silence my cloak. I love this imagery. And the rain instead of tears. I used to love to cry in the pool while swimming laps. Oddly your piece evoked that feeling for me. And I quite like the tension of the standoff at the end.
Thank you so much.
Wonderful poetry in your word.. and the killer last line.. in more than one way.
Thank you so much. Have a fabulous weekend.
I loved the rhythm of this prose poem.
Thank you
Wonderful language and imagery. I envy you.
Thank you so much.
Thanks
A get a sense of quiet meditation and preparation before everything kicks off. Great story!
Thank you so much
A deep piece that tells so much in just 100 words… bravo! Thanks for the mention in your post too!
My pleasure thank you
Lovely writing as always, darling — Methinks you should take some time and think this story out; give yourself somewhere to go with it — I know I’d love to read the whole tale, rather than just eat it a bite at a time.
It would be nice. I’ll give it some thought. At least I know when thepicture comes I’ll have a thought starter.
You have an absolutely wonderful way with imagery, and I love how you put the words on top of the picture—it gives it an extra kind of power. You evoke a lot of emotion as well. I read the previous Vengeance installments and now I’m hooked!
Thank you so much.
This sounds like the calm between two storms.

It really is.
Dear Victoria,
I love the idea of pulling silence around her like a cloak. Nice one.
Shalom,
Rochelle
