I write because I have to. It is a compulsion. I do it to vent, to laugh and to remember. I blog because it has been so long since I had to write with a pen that my hand would go into cramp if I tried to write a journal.

  1. What a great story, darling. So huge and yet so self-contained. Like the last scribblings found by a future generation discovering the ruins of a long lost civilization. Brilliant!

  2. Nice work. You leave me with a lot of questions concerning the back story here, Victoria. Usually, I don’t care for that, but here I think you have told just enough to have a complete story. On the other hand, if you ever choose to write more of this story, I hope I get a chance to read it.

    Kind regards,
    Marie Gail

  3. Victoria, you hit the right note (so to speak, of course) with your mix of ratcheting up tension and leaving us wondering who “they” were and what the vengeance for. Really good!
